The First Hungarian Heritage Blues Festival at The Hamilton

Come and join us on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the First Hungarian Heritage Blues Festival in Washington, D.C. feat. Little G. Weevil, John Németh and Grammy-Award winner John Popper. Hungary Wins First Ever Winter Olympic Gold Medal in Men’s 5000 m Relay in Short-Track Speed Skating

Shaolin Sándor Liu, boyfriend of Great Britain’s Speed Skater Elise Christie, helped Hungary win our first ever Winter Olympic gold medal in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Shaolin’s younger brother, Shaoang Liu, Viktor Knoch and Csaba Burján made up the rest of the Hungarian short-track speed skating quartet.

The Allegro Foundation of Charlotte, North Carolina, held its 9th annual Ambassador's Ball on January 6, 2018, and graciously invited Hungary to be the guest of honor for the event. Statue of Holocaust survivor U.S. Congressman Tom Lantos dedicated in Budapest

On the 90th anniversary of the birth of the late Congressman Tom Lantos, his native Budapest dedicated a statue in his honor on Tom Lantos Street in District 13 of the Hungarian capital. The event was the initiative of the district’s Mayor, Mr. József Tóth and was attended by Hungarian officials, Lantos Family members, and many of Tom’s friends and admirers.
