Taste Hungarian food and wine, watch and join the folk dancers of Tisza Dance Ensemble, listen to members of the Életfa and Beltway Bandits folk music bands, experience art and culture like never before. Meet and practice with Australia’s Rubik’s Cubist National Champion Jasmine Lee, enter the competition and win a Rubik’s Cube. Meet American dog lovers with their Vizslas and Pulis in the Embassy Garden. Plan your next trip to Hungary with the Hungarian Tourism Agency Team.
Experience traditional Hungarian food made fresh by Embassy Executive Chef Balázs Mészáros! Taste the authentic, true beef Hungarian Goulash (gulyás), the vegan Grenadiermarsch with gherkins (krumplistészta csemegeuborkával), pork Debrecziner sausages served in a bun (Hun Dogs), Hungarian pork cabbage (székelykáposzta), and the beloved Hungarian-Transylvanian chimney cake (kürtőskalács) from Kurly Kürtősh!
Join us in our courtyard and cool down with a soft drink, or try our icy, refreshing summertime spritzer drink (fröccs: dry white wine + sparkling water) or sign up for a VIP wine tasting (21 and over!).

Children and parents are both welcome to join a balloon party, face painting, and Rubik’s Cube contest. American dog owners take pride in showcasing some of our best 4-legged friends who originally come from Hungary. This year we will feature Vizsla and Puli dogs.
