No applications for residence permits may be submitted between January 1st and February 29th 2024
Since the Act (XC of 2023) on the General Rules for the Entry and Right of Residence of Third-Country Nationals entered into force on January 1st 2024, the new rules need to be implemented in practice, hence no applications for residence permit or EU (or interim/ national) residence card may be submitted between January 1st and February 29th 2024.
Procedures where the application was submitted before January 1st 2024 will be suspended between January 1st 2024 and February 29th 2024. Attaching a supporting document to a pending application is still available.
