H.E. Szabolcs Takács, Ambassador of Hungary to the United States, cordially invites You to the virtual commemoration of the 173rd anniversary of the 1848-1849 Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence.

Tristan Azbej, the State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and the Hungary Helps Program, was the first of the invited guests to meet Pope Francis during his historical visit to Mosul.

Hungary opposes the March 3 statement of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the initiation of an investigation respecting the Situation in Palestine. The Hungarian Government has always disputed the decision of the Court that the territorial scope of its jurisdiction extends to Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Mr. Takács sat down with Hungarian Insider this week to talk about the key priorities of the Hungarian government for 2021 and beyond and, in particular, the relationship with the United States and strategic areas of cooperation like space, energy, and climate.
